The Municipality of Shkodër and the Cultural Center “Pjetër Gaci” – Shkodër organize the 25th edition of the International Prize for Young Performers of Classical Music “Pjetër Gaci”. The competition will take place on May 20–23, 2026.
This activity is open to performers with soloist abilities aged 7 to 23, from Albania and abroad, divided into categories according to age groups in the following specialties: piano; strings; woodwind and brass instruments; guitar; accordion; and vocal.
The entire competition will take place on the stage of the “Migjeni” Theatre.
The opening ceremony will be held on May 20, 2026, at 09:30 at the “Migjeni” Theatre.
The final concert with the best performers, from which the grand prize winners will be selected, will take place on May 23, 2026, at 19:00.
Competition juries:
The names of the jury members will be announced later.
The novelty of this edition is that all competitors will receive a participation certificate, without being evaluated with points. Winners of each category will be awarded prizes.
In the final concert, which is composed of selected winners from each category, competitors will compete for the three grand prizes.

The registration deadline is until May 16, 2026.
The registration fee is 1 000 Lekë. The payment of the registration fee is made online or at the competition secretariat on the day of the competition.
