The Municipality of Shkodër and the “Pjetër Gaci” Cultural Center – Shkodër are organizing the 25th edition of the International Award for Young Performers of Classical Music “Pjetër Gaci”. The competition will take place on May 20–23, 2026.

This event is open to performers with soloistic abilities aged 7 to 23, from Albania and abroad, divided into categories according to age groups in the following disciplines: piano; strings; woodwind and brass instruments; guitar; accordion; and voice.

All competition rounds will be held on the stage of the “Migjeni” Theatre.

The opening ceremony will take place on May 20, 2026, at 09:30 at the “Migjeni” Theatre.

The final concert, featuring the best performers from whom the grand prize winners will be selected, will take place on May 23, 2026, at 19:00.

Information regarding the regulations, registration process, jury members, competition schedule, and other details will be available on our website www.pjetergaci.al in the coming days.

The novelty of this edition is that all participants will be awarded a certificate of participation, without being evaluated with points. Winners of each category will be awarded prizes.

At the final concert, which is built around the selected winners from each category, participants will compete for the three grand prizes.
